Hundreds of rooms are booked at the host hotel, and guests from as far away as Australia are making their way to St. Louis for one of the world’s largest bear gatherings: HiBearNation 25.
This will be the 25th year the Show Me Bears have put on this major event, and HiBearNation 25 Chairman D. Devereoux reports in that time, the organization has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for HIV/AIDS charities.
“When this all began there were a lot of people in our community who needed help, and the community stepped up. But there are still people in need of help” Devereoux says.
The four-day social extravaganza includes events at the host bar, JJ’s Clubhouse, Bar PM, and the host hotel, Holiday Inn – Downtown Convention Center (the party gets wild there!). The entire schedule can be found here.
