The deeper you venture into Wonderland at 2720 this weekend, the curiouser and curiouser it will feel.

The organizers at Xhibition Art (Lola Von Ella, Mimi Le Uke and others) are promising three floors of immersive erotic art experience. The theme: Alice in Wonderland, with a “decidedly adult twist.”

All guests are strongly encouraged to arrive by 9:15 p.m. either evening for a guided tour down the rabbit hole. There will be a main stage that features variety acts, plus the Wonderland Garden Band led by musician Kristen Goodman.

In addition, various characters and atmospheric entertainers will wander through the psychedelic milieu. The Queen of Hearts will preside over a human croquet game. You can partake in the Caterpillar’s Hookah Lounge upstairs, while on the lower you’ll find visual art, a DJ and a dungeon-esque, BDSM vibe.

Guests who want to splurge for the ultimate experience can attend the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, during which they can eat off human platters, which gives new meaning to that famous message written on Alice’s cake: “Eat me.”

Wonderland by Xhibition Art, general admission $25, Mad Hatter’s Tea Party $75, 8 p.m., no admission past 11:30 p.m., Fri., April 6, and Sat., April 7, 2720 Cherokee, 314-282-8017, 2720cherokee.com/event/wonderland.
