Fly, my pretties (and your little dog, too) to the Mr. Missouri Leather 2025 competition, a weekend-long celebration of leather, kink, and community at Bar:PM, September 26-28, 2025. Started in 1983 by the Gateway Motorcycle Club and since assumed by legendary leather Misters Chad Carroll and Terry Laupp (Mr Missouri Leather 2010), the MML competition is now in its 42nd year of celebrating the geared-up, rough, tough, and scruffy denizens of our leather-clad community.
Running concurrently with the weekend of Tower Grove Pride, MML will be bringing the nightlife, starting with the Black and Lou Fetish Ball (Bar:PM, Friday, Sept 26, 9:00pm). This year’s Black and Lou will be Wyckd (in every sense of the word); expect some steely tin men with an axe to grind, some fully-pelted and less-than-cowardly lions, and at least a few asses defying gravity. Your Toto or flying monkey mosh a little too hard? Sign them up for a stint in an Ani-MML Control cage to give them time to cool down. Make sure also to pay attention to the man behind the curtain: the Wonderful Wyzzer will be dispensing special shots all night long. Tickets on sale now ($20 pre-order, $25 at the door).
Saturday night will bring the main event: MML 2025, the competition not only titling our 43rd Mr Missouri Leather, but securing him a spot in the much-lauded 2026 International Mr Leather competition next May in Chicago. If you’re looking for a night of sweat, straps, leather, latex, sirs, boys, pups, handlers, the nastiest pigs, the dommiest doms, the subbiest subs, and pageantry only we know how to deliver, this is the event for you. Come get tantalized and cheer on this year’s contestants as they flaunt their stuff (“stuff” being dedication to community wellbeing and the principles of queer fraternity, obv) while taking part in an indiscreet silent auction (Bar:PM, Saturday, Sept 27, 9:00pm; $10 at the door). And be sure to stick around the morning after for the Sunday Funday MML Victory Brunch!
