On April 13, Jesse “Grim” Woods walked to the corner store in his Dutchtown neighborhood and was shot and killed.

St. Louis Metropolitan Police have identified these three men as suspects in the murder of Jesse “Grim” Woods.
Homicide Detectives have now identified suspects. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Homicide Division directly at 314-444-5371. Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left the 37-year-old man dead on April 13, 2025, in the 3500 block of Alberta.
Shortly before 8:15 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the location. Upon arriving, they located Woods and found that he was suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. EMS responded and transported Woods to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
