From a collectivist sense, Rocco calls upon all of us to unite and hold the line for democracy; for our ability to live our respective truths without condemnation.
With the help of an epic strings section, hard-hitting trap-inspired hi-hats, and UK drill bass slides, the production provides a dark and dramatic backdrop for the call-to-action anthem. The vocal performance, lyrical content, and production of ‘We Won’t Back Down’ perfectly complement each other and capture the current tense and tumultuous atmosphere of 2025.
