St. Charles Community College will be offering diverse wine education classes this spring. Discover varieties of wines produced in different regions around the world. The “Wine Around the World” series will consist of 5 classes that allow participants to taste wines and pair them with delicious food samplings. For pairing, an expert chef, Chef Phillip, will create customized dishes inspired by the regional wines. Participants will not only learn about the wines and pairings in each class, but they will also learn about each specific growing region. $50-55 per session

Rally to Fight Childhood Hunger

Missouri dairy farmers will join community leaders, representatives from Operation Food Search, Cardinal mascot Fredbird and more to rally to fight childhood hunger in St. Louis over the summer months. The donation campaign, running at the registers at every Dierbergs location from May 31st-June 9th, will kick-off with a community event on June 1st at the Dierbergs Des Peres Market. There, shoppers can visit the “Real Love Convoy” a wrapped vehicle parked outside Dierbergs, to sample nutritious dairy products, participate in fun activities, learn more about nutrition and make donations to Operation Food Search.
